Where to Buy Your 2015 Utah Fishing License

Getting your Utah fishing license for 2015 online is one option. You need to provide your Social Security Number. If you're not comfortable giving that information out online, you can also buy one in person, at the nearest DWR office, or over the phone at 1-800-221-0659. The phone line is available 24/7 and will get you an authorization number you can use immediately.

A basic resident fishing license is $34. A license for ages 12-13 is $5, or $25 if you're over 65. For a little extra, you can also get reciprocal permits for Flaming Gorge (Wyoming) and Lake Powell (Arizona). There's also a lifetime license program.

Utah's annual Free Fishing Day should be June 6, 2015. It's usually on the first Saturday in June, but when that falls on the 1st, it's moved to the second Saturday.
