NOTE: Fishing (angling) licenses are valid from March 1 through April 30 of the following year.

Getting your Minnesota fishing license for 2015-2016 online is one option, though you do have to provide your Social Security Number and there may be a fee. If you're not comfortable giving that out online, you can also buy a license in person at a license vendor (scroll all the way down).
